The Story Behind Aurora Sonnet

What began as a childhood shaped by music across many countries became a lifelong devotion to vocal artistry.

Aurora Sonnet was founded by Belgian singer, songwriter, music producer, and performer Alo Wiza. Raised by missionaries, she grew up singing and performing across many countries, shaping her vocal identity from a young age.

After studying jazz in Belgium, she moved to New York, where she continued to refine her craft performing across the city and creating a heartfelt vocal piano duo that would later inspire Aurora Sonnet.

Aurora Sonnet was created to bring that belief to life curating intimate, small-format vocal experiences led by emotionally rich, breathtaking voices, each chosen for tone, elegance, and presence.
